Apparently orthopedic massage is very different than regular massage. I wished I would have known this years ago! Jean is a literal God send. She knows the human body in such detail. I can tell when she’s working on me. She finds things that no one else has ever found and uses physical therapy maneuvers in addition to the massage. She is not cheap, but worth every penny. As if that wasn’t enough, her bedside manner is so lovely. She truly cares and wants to help you find relief. I’m so grateful for her!
I was looking for a new masseuse and found Focused Care. I’ve had 3 massages now with 2 different providers and am very pleased with their work! I’m rather particular about my bodywork and both Kim and Julia have exceeded my expectations. It’s very easy to book online and they have excellent availability. I have been seeing Kim for almost a year now, and each session I‘ve had with her is met which such professionalism and care. This is the second time I’m returning to her because of the same area of injury, and she has been so helpful in relieving the pain. You can tell she really cares about her clients because she takes takes the time to try to find out why the pain is recurring and discuss techniques and stretches that would help prevent reinjury and minimize pain. I also really appreciate how responsive and accommodating Kim is when it comes to booking and scheduling. I highly recommend incorporating Kim’s massages whether it be for relaxation or pain relief!
After having severe pain and stiffness in my neck, causing almost debilitating headaches, I went online to try and find a same-day appointment somewhere. I found Focused Care which had an opening with Kim and I snagged it as fast as possible. I’ve had many massages over the years, but this one was different. She listened to my concerns, asked questions and the work she did on my neck and upper body was amazing. I walked away feeling so much better and can’t wait to go back again.
