Clinical Massage Therapy for Pain, Injury & Chronic Conditions

Clinical Massage Therapy for Pain, Injury & Chronic Conditions

Not all massage is the same. A spa massage helps you relax for an hour. Medical massage is different — it’s a targeted, assessment-based therapy designed to relieve pain, restore movement, and improve function for people dealing with specific health concerns.

At Focused Care Therapeutic Massage in Lancaster, PA, medical massage is our specialty. Every session begins with a thorough intake and assessment: we look for patterns of dysfunction, test range of motion, and build a treatment plan around your body — not a routine. Then we re-assess after the session so you can feel the difference.

What to Expect: Assessment-Based Sessions

Medical massage at Focused Care is never one-size-fits-all:

  1. Intake & assessment — we discuss your history, evaluate posture and movement, and identify the source of your pain (not just where it hurts).
  2. Targeted treatment — your therapist combines orthopedic techniques, myoskeletal alignment, deep tissue work, and — as appropriate — hot stones, cupping, or essential oils. Everything is all-inclusive and approved by you.
  3. Re-assessment — we check your range of motion and pain levels after the session, so progress is measurable.

Sessions & rates: 60 minutes (115)·90minutes(155) · 120 minutes ($195) — with Licensed Massage Therapist Jean Kark.
